UCF Athletics at the University of Central Florida, an NCAA Division I institution and American Athletic Conference (The American) member, is seeking applications for the position of Assistant Sports Performance Coach - Football.
Under the direction of the Director of Sports Performance for Football, the selected candidate assists in the day-to-day management of football's sports performance program within UCF, Conference, and NCAA rules and regulations. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the development and implementation of sports performance programming for a nationally competitive football program. As a sports performance coach, the selected individual must be able to prepare a program and teach, demonstrate, and supervise proper techniques for strength, speed, conditioning, and flexibility exercises within the program, while maintaining a safe training environment.
Minimum qualifications: Master's degree in an appropriate area of specialization; or a bachelor's degree in an appropriate area of specialization and two (2) years of appropriate experience. CSCCa (SCCC) or NSCA (CSCS), as well as CPR / AED certification required. Prefer football strength and conditioning experience with skill groups (defensive backs, wide receivers and running backs) at the Division I level or higher. Experience with GPS technology, strong attention to detail and communication (written/verbal) skills also preferred.
